Esther Eckley’s  STILL LIFE PAINTING WEEKEND

‘A Classic Fruit Bowl’ or ‘ Flowers in a Vase’

Join Esther for a weekend of painting and learn the techniques she uses to create her beautiful paintings.

Esther captures the beauty of everyday objects in her still life paintings, and in this workshop you will learn how to capture light, paint shadows, use bold brush strokes and work with muted colour.

Esther was born in Wales and relocated to Australia in 2015, and is now based in the creative hub of Orange, NSW. She regularly exhibits with Walcha Gallery of Art and Michael Reid Murrurundi, and has exhibited her work at Sydney Contemporary Art Fair in 2021 & ’22. Her subject matter has predominantly involved painting everyday objects such as ceramic ware, fruit and flowers.

Her work has gained great popularity in the past 10 years, featuring in many national interior magazines, including Belle, Vogue and House and Garden, and you can see why.

The weekend is an opportunity to listen, learn, and connect with like-minded artists in a relaxed setting and is open to all levels of artists, as long as you come with an open mind and willingness to learn. But be quick to book as places are limited and Esther is very talented.

A welcoming morning tea, lunch from the MRR Kitchen Garden and a glass or two of champagne will nourish you throughout the day.

We hope you can join us. X
