Join me for the day and lets talk gardens and creativity – two of my greatest passions.
Being a Winter Workshop, we will be focusing on form and foliage and what makes a garden work in every season, particularly in the dead of Winter.
We will wander my garden, which will be in it’s most dormant time and look at why we need structure and how we go about building it and then softening that structure with plants and points of interest for year long beauty.
I am a bowerbird and always find interesting things for my garden, not necessarily expensive birdbaths, or sculptures, often just things in nature, that I cart home with me, and these are the things that make your garden, yours!
The day will be relaxed, it will be friendly and you will walk away armed with a greater understanding about what makes a well designed garden, and that Winter can be just as magical as any other season.
You can bring along photos of an area that may need more structure or Autumn/ Winter interest. This will be a small intimate group, conducive to sharing ideas and exploring design concepts.
This day is ideal for those starting out in gardening, or have a moderate level of knowledge, but whatever your stage come with a willingness to learn and share.
And I have towers of gardening books for you to enjoy.
I hope to see you. X
