More about this Workshop

Colleen Southwell (aka The Garden Curator) is a full-time artist with a background in horticulture and landscape design.

Underpinning The Garden Curator is Colleen’s ever evolving path as a garden maker, as she gently draws on her horticultural and design background in both her art practice and in the making and sharing of her own country garden.

She is an advocate of “slow gardening”, encouraging thoughtful enjoyment and acknowledgement of the garden as a process and partnership, rather than a manufactured outcome.

Colleen’s artwork is inspired by her garden and the landscape and is collected internationally.

She is a recipient of the TAFE NSW State Medal for Horticulture, and her garden and art practice have been featured by Country Style, Graziher, Better Homes and Gardens and Galah.
